How many kinds of reducers are common in our life?

Type of reducer:

1. According to its radius of curvature: it can be divided into long radius elbow flange and short radius elbow. Reducer is a kind of socket pipe fitting. If the selected diameter specification of reducer is inconsistent with the inner diameter of process pipe, the fastener shall be reduced or expanded accordingly. If the pipe is reduced, whether the pressure loss caused by this will affect the process flow shall be considered. In order to prevent the installation of reducer from affecting the distribution of velocity field and causing pressure loss, so as to reduce the measurement accuracy of electromagnetic flowmeter, the required central cone angle α No more than 15 °, the smaller the better. There are two types: concentric and eccentric. 3. Reducers shall also be used at the joints with instruments, such as flow meters and regulating valves, in order to cooperate with the joints of instruments.
