We supply 300PSI Wet System Valve.The Wet System valve works as a check valve by preventing the reverse flow of water from the system piping to the water supply. The valve is trimmed with a water bypass line,which has an in-line swing check valve. The bypass line allows pressure surges to enter the system and to be trapped above the alarm check valve's clapper without the clapper lifting and causing false alarms.When significant flow of water occurs, such as from an open sprinkler, the valve's clapper lifts and allows water to enter the system. Simultaneously, water enters an intermediate chamber, which allows the water to activate an alarm either through a water motor alarm or through a water pressure alarm. The Hispeed Model SS-10 and SS-20 stainless steel grooved fittings are investment cast in sizes 1" - 8"; SS-11 is investment cast in sizes 1” – 10”; and SS-60 are investment cast in sizes 1”-12”. These fittings are supplied in ASTM A351 or A743 austenitic grades CF8 (304) and CF8M (316). Materials are in compliance with NSF/ANSI 372 for potable water service applications. In addition fittings are also available on request in CF3M (316L), 316Ti, 2205 Duplex, 2507 Super Duplex and ASTM CK-3MCuN (UNS J93245) the cast equivalent to 254SMO* to meet your specific service requirements. All cast fittings feature full flow characteristics and are designed to the same C - E dimensions of standard ductile iron grooved fittings.
