We supply Cast Steel Pump Control Valve.The HISPEED® Pump Control Valve is a designed for installation on the discharge of booster pumps to eliminate pipeline surges caused by the starting and stopping of the pump. The pump starts against a closed valve. When the pump is started, the solenoid control is energized and the valve begins to open slowly, gradually increasing line pressure to full pumping head. When the pump is signaled to shut-off, the solenoid control is de-energized and the valve begins to close slowly, gradually reducing flow while the pump continues to run. Should a power failure occur, a built-in, lift-type check valve closes the moment flow stops, preventing reverse flow regardless of solenoid or diaphragm assembly position. The HISPEED® Pump Control Valves are designed for installation in the water supply connection to sprinkler, deluge, foam systems, or standpipe fire protection systems.The HISPEED® Pump Control Valve features a flange, easy installation and accessibility. The Hispeed Model SS-10 and SS-20 stainless steel grooved fittings are investment cast in sizes 1" - 8"; SS-11 is investment cast in sizes 1” – 10”; and SS-60 are investment cast in sizes 1”-12”. These fittings are supplied in ASTM A351 or A743 austenitic grades CF8 (304) and CF8M (316). Materials are in compliance with NSF/ANSI 372 for potable water service applications. In addition fittings are also available on request in CF3M (316L), 316Ti, 2205 Duplex, 2507 Super Duplex and ASTM CK-3MCuN (UNS J93245) the cast equivalent to 254SMO* to meet your specific service requirements. All cast fittings feature full flow characteristics and are designed to the same C - E dimensions of standard ductile iron grooved fittings.
